Dear Ramona,

I am delighted to bring you the news that the MCDR QAP application has been approved! Congratulations, and thank you for all of your hard work towards making this happen!

I would like to offer my assistance with the further steps of qualifying mediators for IMI Certification. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

The next step is for you to set up a dedicated MCDR QAP email address (QAP4IMI@MCDR.comIMIQAP@MCDR.com (or something similar) so that I can set up the MCDR QAP User profile in the IMI system, and guide you through the process of qualifying your mediators for IMI Certification!

MCDR is the oldest membership-based organization in Maryland dedicated to promoting the use of mediation and supporting

the mediation profession.  We have a proud history of successfully advocating for allowing multiple professions to practice mediation,

halting attempts to restrict the practice some fifteen years ago.  MCDR is the first organization to establish performance based criteria

now in use as a national model, part of an ongoing dialogue on quality assurance and mediator credentials.
