The session will be held at Hebron House, located at 2331 Calvin Circle, Ellicott City, MD 21042. Hebron House is an exquisite historic landmark, conveniently situated across the driveway from Mt Hebron Presbyterian Church. Upon your arrival, please be advised that the church will be on your right, while Hebron House will be on your left. Ample parking space is available in the adjacent lot for your convenience.

Please arrive by 1:45 PM in order for the assessment process to commence promptly, beginning with an informative overview for all participants at that time. Subsequently, you will be assigned to a designated room, which you will be tasked with transforming into a suitable mediation environment. A concise summary of the various roles will be provided; however, the role players will receive more detailed information. The focus of the case will revolve around a custody and parenting dispute.

A one-hour time frame will be allocated for the mediation process. While we do not expect a resolution to be achieved within this period, our aim is for participants to make notable progress in the mediation. Following the hour-long session, the assessors will facilitate a Q&A segment with the role players, enabling you to gain valuable insights into your performance. Afterward, the role players will depart, and you will have the opportunity to engage in a discussion with the assessors. The session will be officially concluded at this point, and you will be free to leave. Please note that the written assessment forms will be provided at a later date to allow the assessors ample time to complete them. For your reference, a copy of the assessment form has been attached to this correspondence.

Lastly, the role play will be recorded and you will receive a copy on a flash drive for your records as well as ours. Should you want to appeal the scoring of the Assessor(s) that evaluated your skills.
