Highlights:
May 2002 Executive Committee Meeting
**New standing committee established by consensus vote to serve
as clearinghouse of information regarding confidentiality and issues
relevant to judicial procedure. Questions? Contact Roger Wolf, Chair
of the new committee, at 410-706-3836.
**Include in regular membership meetings an opportunity to entertain
wants and requests of MCDR members.
**Consensus voting per Bylaws Article IV, Section 1 affirmed.
Preference expressed for bullet summaries in minutes highlighting
actions items.
**By consensus vote, bullet summaries of actions taken at Executive
Committee meetings and General Membership meetings will be included
in the MCDR newsletter.
**Barbara Blake Williams, John Spiegel, Fay Mauro asked to review
Bylaws and to recommend revisions, if any.
**Updated membership data shared with Membership Committee.

**Feedback invited about whether MCDR should increase its
membership dues, especially in light of the suggestion that,
at some point, MCDR might want to hire staff to help with administrative
functions.
**By consensus vote, MCDR logo adopted scheduled for review at the
Spring 2003 quarterly meeting.
**Thanks for her term of service expressed to Wendy Swire, retiring
editor of Resolving Issues. Gary Pinsky recognized as
new editor of Resolving Issues.
**Thanks for her term of service expressed to Dana Morris-Jones
who is resigning as Co-Chair of the Certification Committee.
Rob Ketchum recognized as new Co-Chair with Carl Schneider of
the Certification Committee.
**Thanks to C.T. Butler for an insightful presentation on Conflict
